All new to the TAG Motorsports Stable!! // 2017 Dynamite Red V10 Plus

We would like to introduce the newest member of the TAG Motorsports family/ Stable. The all new 2017 Audi R8 V10 Plus in Dynamite Red. For that once in a lifetime experience, we opted to go through with a European delivery. What an incredible experience!!

Out of the box, this car is not only abnormally refined, but also very aggressive in it's stock form. However...as with anything that makes it's way into our doors, this one is not destined to stay factory for long. In fact, it is already in the process of going through it's very first makeover stages.


































First on the list... and perhaps one of the biggest aesthetic changes for any car... wheels! We are very close (both from a business aspect, and in proximity) to HRE Performance wheels here in Vista. HRE has without a doubt the some of cleanest, best fitting, high quality product in the wheel industry today. For that reason, we tend to install quite a bit of their line. For our car, it will be no different.

Phase 1: HRE R101LW (light weight series.) This new wheel from HRE is truly remarkable. The precision used to create such beauty in a wheel, while maintaining an extremely lightweight design is very impressive. Take a look at some of the facts here in relation to the OEM set.

Wheel weights:

R101LW Front: 17.8 lbs
R101LW Rear: 22.2 lbs

R101LW With Tire Front: 39.4 lbs
R101LW With Tire Rear: 55.6 lbs

OEM Front Base 19" wheel with Tire: 46.8 lbs
OEM Rear Base 19" wheelr with Tire: 56.6 lbs

Considering the size changes, this is absolutely astounding. The pocketing is just incredible!

















And to think that this is merely the beginning of this monster of a project.

Stay tuned for a full shoot to come, as well as an ongoing build thread consisting of all of the hottest new mods for the Gen 2 R8. We will be doing everything from exterior and interior upgrades, performance upgrades, as well as suspension changes.

BAE just got a little update! 20/21" HRE RS100 in Satin Black center, Gloss Black outer is the biggest change. Some other Mods include the OEM Black Optics Grille, and the all new Capristo side carbon blades. Enjoy!!
