iPod / iPhone music integration in 2008 head unit w/bluetooth

Since I haven't had a chance to play with my new to me 08... I was wondering if you guys found way to integrate the iPod/iPhone music into the bluetooth system or via an aux port or something?

That seems to be the best option I could find.

Damn, that seems pretty nifty with the song display and all. I used a lower tier Dension adapter (~$60) which had an old school ipod connector, to which I connected a Tune2Air ($90), and I haven't had a single problem with it. For anyone looking for a slightly cheaper route. I leave it connected to my iPad and that displays the song anyway.

Did some 2008 or late B7 had an optional iPod connector in the glove compartment? If there was an optional connector, there's possibly a connection or a missing plug behind the head unit... Just trying to see if a connector could be wired in easily. Again, pretty sure this has already been discussed at length already, just can't find a straight answer.

Care to elaborate? How did you wired the aux input to the head unit?

OEM integration is garbage. Mine came with it and only works with gen 3 Ipods, no song info displayed ither than track 1-99 of cd1-99 on the dis. The aux mod is best bet for universal connectivity, search Aux mod DIY by phil (300kts)
