Quick question for you guys who have your B6/B7 S4's lowered on H&R springs. Do I need to remove the arch liner bolt or is this only when you're going really low on coilovers?

    Thanks

My car is relatively low on coilovers (although not as low as when I bought it and found the exhaust resonator worn through from scraping ) and all fasteners are intact. There are numerous identical bolts holding the liner in; which one are you specifically referring to?

I'm not 100% sure. I think it maybe the arch liner bolt at 12 o'clock. I remember reading about it when I was doing my research on lowering.

Yeah, I'm talking about the screw at the top of the finder liner.

Tire and rim will stick out farther. Might have to take it out. Best to touch base with people that have this setup. Pretty sure there are people here that have this setup.

Pictures or it didn't happen. Haha jk, I want pictures because I'm gonna install H&R spring tomorrow on S4 peelers. 255/35/19 tires. Nicks blog talks about how the s5 peelers look better but I worried about the lower offset.

    Don't forget those pics 😎

Not a problem. You post first as you're doing it sooner than me!! Do a search with username Hyde(?) and you'll get pictures of his S4 with S5 Peelers and H&R coilovers. Looks the business!!

It took a few days but I got it done. Pics (now included) to follow shortly. No rubbing even with moderate bumps in the road and full lock both sides is totally clear.

And I looked up hyde's s5 peelers and I'm already thinking that is the way to go. The extra concave face is just better looking IMO. I think I have just enough room to fit the extra offset without having to modify anything

S4 looking the business with the H&R springs fitted!! On holiday at the moment and mine is currently in the garage having my H&R springs fitted and alignment hopefully sorted out. Not great with spanners so to the garage it goes. Will try and get pictures posted ASAP. I went for the S5 Peelers after seeing Hyde's S4 fitted with them.
