Every time i am slowly parking into a spot, or pulling out of my driveway or just driving VERY slowly on a parking lot and making sharper turns, my steering wheels shudders, as if the tires are biting too much, or the power steering pump is not working well. It is a weird but very obvious vibration in the steering wheel. Happens ONLY at very low speed, going both forward or in reverse. At any other speeds, the steering is perfect.
I do NOT have the dynamic steering. Switching from "comfort" to "dynamic" mode does not seem to eliminate the problem.
The issue has become even more obvious lately, since i put brand new tires on the car.
I can turn the car easily at low speeds, just at a certain range of the turn (only a small portion) it does this weird shudder.
After searching on the Internet, this seems to be a somewhat common issue with the B8 Audis, but it also sounds that there may be a fix for it - read about some new improved steering hose.
So, first question is - how many of you here have this steering issue?
Does it get worse?
And is there an actual fix for it?
Thanks!
