RS5 Exhaust - Anybody with Remus?

The sounds clips have the non-res downpipes, but with the center silencer and not the straight through.
They also claim a similar peak HP increase to Capristo, but not quite as good over the whole band.

Hmm; an option I never thought of. Haven't want to spend the $$$ on a full aftermarket exhaust, but this seems like it could be a good compromise solution. In addition to "louder", how is the sound? American muscle or more Euro exotic? What about drone, given the DSG transmission?

They actually made a mistake when they made the clips. The open valve testing on stock is close up and the open valve Remus is from far away. So it will be louder.

There was one on eBay the full system with non res downpipes, non res center section (straight through) and the mufflers. It was their SEMA display unit. I got it for $1500.

So this exhaust will certainly be louder than the one in the clips since the clips have the center resonator.

The 14-15HP gain isn't as good across the entire RPM band as the Capristo. But for $1500 I'm willing to give it a shot.

its basically the stock sports exhaust sound amplified. I'd say it more of a high pitched euro sound. No drone.

Get AWE track extreme if you don't need valved. If you want valved spend the extra money and get capristo.

The dyno graph looks terrible, the torque is falling away where a normal RS would see the torque climbing.
