    RS4 intake manifold leak suggestions

I am at the end of my rope with my Intake manifold leaking. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Heres the rundown......

Car has a fairly normal Idle but the throttle has a jerk or a miss to it until the car is up above 180 temp, the (vacuum leak) feel goes away but not completely once the car is up to temp. You can still feel a somewhat jerkyness in the throttle. I have smoke tested the car and the leaks are coming from both sides of the inside of my IM. Not around the outside edges just the inside from what I can see when its installed. I have smoke tested the intake while it was off the car and it is not leaking itself. Im thinking or assuming it is coming from the gasket area on the inside. I have JHM spacers and the flap delete option with the flaps removed and the flapper arm mech removed also. I have removed the intake 3 times replaced the gaskets checked the gaskets and made sure they were on properly. Each time it was torqued to proper spec and done in the proper sequence. Ive checked both surfaces manifold and head and they are fine with no marks or damage and i have also checked both surfaces with a straight edge for warpage and there is none. A friend of mine pointed out that there isnt any bolts on the manifold toward the center they are all on the outside. Im assuming that audi knew what they were doing when this was designed. I dont think that that has anything to do with my problem. Im just putting it out there. Has anybody used RTV on the gaskets or have some sort of trick to installing this thing back on without it leaking. I also forgot to mention I have the JHM 93 tune. And im not getting any CEL's. I cant remember if the tune takes the ability of throwing lean codes out of my car or not. Thank you in advance for any advice or closure to this. Between eating tires and this leak Im seriously considering blowing this car out and buying a Honda civic at this point. LOL, not really but the thought haaaaaas crossed my mind. Im just sick and tired of spending all of my free time (something I do not have much of ) wrenching on this thing.

Try Permatex 300 - it's a tacky gasket sealer, not silicon-based, and can mitigate some warping. You may not be able to detect warpage when it's off the car but once torqued down, it may be there.

Thanks for the input. I did consider that myself, and may be the route I take next removal. The good news is I have it down to less than 2hrs off and back on.
