    Drivers side EGT sensor...

I knew this thing would suck, but MAN does it suck. I've concluded none of my wrenches (even went and bought more) won't fit on this thing without me moving surrounding pieces. I want to cut the sensor to use a socket but can't seem to get through it with anything... Any recommendations for cutting through this thing? Or an easier way to do remove the sensor? I've been trying to drop the axle shield but those allen bolts don't want to move.
Pic of where write up says to cut

use a cut off wheel to cut a slot in the closed end of a wrench...i did this after struggling for a while. use it every time now. i also think i slightly bent it with a torch to make it easier. you have to get the aliens for the shield from the wheel well.

Use a mini/short wrench. You could also grind down the sides of the 17mm.

No idea why you would go from the bottom.

This is a 10 min job.

I bought a 17mm crescent wrench that seems like it will fit when it has the right angle. And I can't find 17mm stubbys anywhere

You should forget about replacing them and just code them out.

Succeeded by bending the piss out of the crescent wrench. I am now selling a wrench perfectly tailored for this job...
