    2.8 intake cam question.

My machine shop is wondering about the notch position on one of my intake cams relative to the sprocket.

it seems one of them is not lined up with the cam gear the same as the other one, so he is concerned about it being out of phase.

Could it be the gear was pressed on wrong?

anyone have a closeup picture of some known healthy cams? are they all like this, or am I unlucky enough to have a set of factory duds...

Probably not the angle you're interested in. These are 2.8 cams.

He's probably talking about this, and it confuses everyone because the Bentley conveniently leaves out the fact that the pass and drivers sides are different...
