I have BW K04's for sale. Excellent condition, only have 45k miles on them but have only been on 14psi all of their life. Always let my oil warm up before giving any boost at all. No shaft play. PM me for pictures.

Look at the pictures again and see where it's made. They might not be legit. AFAIK BW are made in Germany but I could be wrong.

When I had my K03's rebuilt I sent them off to have components replaced and balanced.

There are instructions for doing it yourself, but I considered having them balanced important and I don't have the equipment for doing that.

I was quoted $370 a piece from turboconcepts. I didn't shop around to see what other prices were.

Interesting. So they end up costing about the same as a lot of the used k04 turbos that I've seen posted lately, but they have new internals and are freshly balanced

Exactly, they are essential new turbos for like half the cost of brand new
