    Trouble finding fitting wheels

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Oh my Lord. This has been stressful. My current wheels are 17 inch 5x112 lug pattern. I have been looking all over for some and would really prefer not to order them due too 200 dollars in shipping and i can't afford that in high school. If someone could help me out that'd be great. Also could someone tell me if 17 inch 5x114.3 lug pattern will fit. I'm also not planning on switching tires. Thanks in advance.

You don't want to pay for shipping so I guess you are just looking for something for sale locally? Just check your local classifieds, otherwise you'll have to pay shipping, pretty simple. And no, the other bolt pattern wont fit without additional cost such as wobble bolts, re-drilling, adapters etc. assuming the 114.3 wheels have the same center bore etc. but there are ways around that as well, but additional cost.

I don't know where you live in Alaska but a 5 second Craigslist search turned up these.

TONS of audi and some VW wheels will fit, also Mercedes wheels. You have plenty of options

Geez, 1500 miles from fairbanks You must live on the northern tip of alaska in the middle of nowhere.

I doubt that will make it any more practical to get them back home.

Ur gonna have to man up and pay shipping. Kinda what happens when you live in the middle of nowhere. Could always email usp motorsports or a similar place that has free shipping options and see if they can cut you a deal on shipping, as I'm sure free shipping won't apply for Alaska.

Ecs has cheap wheel options under alzor. I usually avoid using ecs but this seems like a worthwhile option

Keep checking eBay. I got a set of 17" BBS wheels for $225 shipped. Granted, I dont live in Alaska. But if you can find a set for $200 and get the seller to ship to you not a bad price.

    Yeah, (all iirc)

all 5 bolt audi wheels ever will fit (except TT, cause it's really a mkiv golf)
all 5 bolt merc wheels ever also (but offset might be funny, and they have larger centre bore so you need hubcentric rings.. 66-57 or whatever)
B5 and up passats, B5 for sure.
    MKV and newer golf/jetta.. I think. mk1...4 were 4 bolt or 5x100
