    Weak Heated Seats

Anyone have issues with their heated seats being weak or is that just an audi thing? I have a semi bad back so I like to keep my heated seats on usually always. I've had VW's before and I never would turn them all the way up especially during the summer. I've noticed that ever since I bought my 12' Premium, I've had the warmers on level 6 and they still don't feel hot enough. Level 5 on my old R32 would fry an egg...

Level 6? Mine only has 3 levels, and the hottest gets pretty toasty by my standards

My '09 A4 with standard comfort seats.....I would never be able to go above 4 (on the 1-6 scale) on either driver or passenger sides. On my '15 Sline with sport seats I set it at "3" (1-3 scale now) and it's about what I would get from the 4 setting on my '09. There are some pretty significant variables with this including the hardware in the seats that may have changed from the manufacturer over the years, in addition to the differences int he seats themselves between comfort and sport.....
The other thing I noticed is that with my '15 with the three stage seat heaters, they taper off as they get warmer.....so if I start at "3" I will notice after about 20 minutes it will have dropped down to just the "1 position. My '09 never did that.

My driver seat is like that where you think it should be hotter and it doesn't get there and yet all my passengers are always turning it down from 6 to about 4 after 5-10 minutes saying its too hot. Curious to see if there was a cheap fix rather than taking it somewhere and them saying replace the seat.

The drivers seat in my '10 P+ takes forever to heat up and then doe snot get very warm on the 6 setting. I commute 40 minutes and I don't feel heat until about 20 minutes and then when I arrive at work it is barely warm. Not usre about the passenger seat. I will have to test that.

My previous Audis(1989 CQ, 1990 90q, 1996A4q) all had heated seats that I would normally not turn past halfway.
