    Stripped HPFP Bolt

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I was going to check my cam follower about a week ago and noticed that one of the HPFP bolts was really loose. It ended up pulling straight out with the threading still intact in a spiral around the bolt. The other two bolts seem fine, but I need to repair the 3rd bolt hole with a helicoil. My question is, what size do I need to get? I have a stud kit ready to replace all three.

Thanks in advance for the help. Not driving the car at the moment.

I think this is why they came up with the stud kit and your car may be a candidate , but I have heard people say it can be a real pain in the ass sliding the pump on and off the studs.

Yeah I am going to try that I think. Almost makes me want to helicoil all three holes while I am at it.
