Driver's Side Mirror Glass Break –*Part #?

    Hey guys,

A moving van smashed into my driver's side mirror – Luckily only the glass broke. Any ideas on the easiest way to replace the glass? Is there a good website for used parts like that?

    Thanks!

Or the dealership, or a wrecker. Pretty easy to get a hold of. IMO you would want to find one with the anti-dazzle. After getting it with I think it was my original B5 S4, it makes such a difference driving at night. Way less sleepy when people are following too close = their head lights bothering you

Holy shit! $780+ for just the glass. My driver's side shakes a little bit occasionally and I considered replacing it, but not for that price.

The anti-dazzle is what makes it expensive.

You can find just heated side mirrors for <$100 a side. Ones with anti-dazzle are $300+.

I would try ebay or a junker.

If you add the anti-dazzle mirror glass (to a car which does not have this factory option), you need to run two wires from the mirror, thru the door, to the interior rear-view anti-dazzle mirror.

Never heard of this anti dazzle feature. How do you know if you have it or not (without taking side mirrors off)? I do notice a tint on the side mirrors as well as a clear rim around the edges of the mirror (~ 5 mm ) all the way around.

    Thanks
