    I went with a liquid-to-liquid cooler instead of a water-to-air intercooler.

Did you go with alpha? I have the opportunity to get the PLM system and want to run a pulley ratio of at least 3.2 but don't really want to drop 2 grand on a cooling system in addition to software

    Different system entirely.

The Alpha cooler is still water to air.

I think this is priced a bit high but it comes with some free autographs from Loe all over so... who am I to judge?

What system is liquid to liquid? Is it really that much beneficial over a thicker core like the awe or plm ?

The liquid-to-liquid system is something that i'm testing out. It's not a kit designed for our cars but rather a custom one developed from a universal kit. In my 9 months of hot weather climate, the liquid-to-liquid suites my 1/4mile drag needs with my pulley combination. For a road course and lower pulley ratio's, or for those in colder climates, the normal front mount HX is sufficient for consistent performance without the need to use refrigerant to cool the fluid and use the power of rushing air.

There is a thread for it but here is a teaser:

The entire thing is cold to the touch, this pic was taken after a 30 minute drive through the city:

Best part was that IAT's hovered 2-3 *C +/- from outside ambient despite the conditions. I'll have my AWE front HX on the market soon in the F/S section

open to reasonable offers. Its a great upgrade for stage 1/2 guys who don't have a need for the full blown system. The HX is the main item in current water-to-air offerings that will give the most gains on any of the aftermarket intercooler systems.
