    2.0t Overboosting

Hi guys, after a trip to Vegas yesterday with many many wot pulls my revo stage 2 a4 began spiking 27-29psi at 87 degree temperature. I usually spiked 21 and held 19-20PSI and in the night spiked 22-24 and held 19-20psi.

My boost gauge spikes and flutters crazy 25-29Psi without tappering down with some backfiring and I have to let off the gas since it's obviously leaning out overboosting. I have no cel's, any thoughts if it's the wastegate or N75 valve??
My vacuum is 23 at idle and 25psi off the gas in gear.

I'm going to change my sps boost settings from a "6" to a "5" and stay on stock map for a while.

Definitely check your n75 valve. Should be 3 vacuum lines going to it. Make sure they are all intact

I checked last bight and saw nothing torn, did a boost leak test too with luminescent smoke at from 16psi-25psi and didn't see any leaks or heard any.

Might need to replace the valve. I had to replace mine when I was over boosting. I don't actually know of a way to go about testing the valve to tell if it's bad. I just replaced it thinking it was the problem and I was right.

I guess I'll be replacing it too then. Fingers crossed, my wife had the habbit of not downshifting and just gasing it at low rpm amd holding boost for a long period of time when driving up hills. I'd like to blame her for the clutch feeling worn too
