Is there a specific way to get the engine to mate up with the engine. if anyone has any tips or tricks it would be much appreciated.
    Thanks

*Edit I did mean transmission to engine

Assuming you meant engine and trans. Sounds like you left the transmission bolted to the subframe and pulled the engine alone. Best I could tell you is get it aligned the best you can without damaging the clutch/pressure plate, use the bellhousing bolts to slowly pull the 2 together. Its a lot easier when you pull the 2 out together.

I had to do a clutch job and i have changed it out. i just can't get the transmission mated back up to the engine. i did use the clutch alignment tool to put the new clutch in. i only pulled the transmission out and am just having problem get it back in.

Make sure the clutch is centered under the pressure plate. That alignment tool should almost fall out of the splines when the clutch is perfectly centered. Other then that, make sure the trans is in gear and give it a wiggle while sending it home.

I got the transmission back in and now the car won't start. it has been sitting for around a month. it cranks but it doesn't fire. i have checked spark and there isn't one. have yet to check for gasoline or injector pulse
