2007 S4 Premium Plus w/VF Supercharger

Hi. Highly modified 2007 Audi S4 for sale. Purchased 8/2013 at 76K Miles. Owned by a professional and all work done at the Audi Dealership. I tweaked a few things when I got it and have only driven it less than 4000 miles. Garage kept in humidity/heat controlled garage. Not driven in bad weather. Everything works. Driven on weekends only and it is an amazing fast Audi S4. Brakes will throw you through the windshield and the Passport 9500ci keeps on eye on things. The exhaust growl is terrific but at cruise you can’t even tell it is there. Acceleration is exhilarating and the sound of the Supercharger is just amazing. This car has over $34K in upgrades. Have a friend who is very interested. A little confused though. You just posted in the intro forum on 10/1/16, "Hi everyone! I have a 2007 S4 with the VF Engineering Supercharger, Stage 4 front brakes, high flow cats, Stasis Catback and the list just goes on. Thought I'd join the community to learn some more about this car. It is amazing!". Seems strange that you would post that and list the car for sale the same day. Thanks.

Not that I'm aware of, I contacted my service manager at the dealership and he said that was an issue with the older 04, 05 and early 06 motors, not mine.

I have never heard that '07s are immune. Maybe other people can chime in but as far as I know all 4.2L v8's have these issues.

Not immune. But it does seem to have a decreasing trend of how many end up needing them serviced as you move up the years. The guides are still plastic overall in all the years of the 4.2 V8 so there is always a chance. I would just say less likely on a 07 than say a 04.

I agree that you'll see less 07's effected but I still don't trust any 4.2L that hasn't had it done especially over 75k miles!

There is not one thing wrong with this car. It's been dealer kept. I just needed it gone as my son is in Italy going to college

It's actually a 2004 B6 S4 with B7 RS4 front end.

I know its an old thread but that car had the MP90 charger :)
