Got a weird one and hoping someone can point out the obvious.

2015 RS5 who knows what year iPhone 4 (not S, sorry don't do Siri).

BT works fine. I connect up the cable in the glove box and all titles are displayed, it shows it's playing a song but there's absolutely no sound coming out. Yes, volume is up on both phone and car, no it's not on silent. Since titles etc. are being displayed I doubt it's the cable, any other hints or settings that may or not have to be set in the MMI?

    Thanx for any pointers.

OK so on digging further I found out that you can't have BT enabled at the same time as connecting the phone via the cable linking to the MMI. Once I disable BT, all is as it should be. Navigation of songs, folders etc as well as of course actually music.

What I haven't tested but would seem to follow is that if BT is disabled, my phone would no longer link to the vehicle (phone would of course still work) but not via on-board controls. Need to test that unless of course BT is by-passed by the cable enabling phone commands.

    Thoughts?
