    Hi

Just installed lowering links for S6; however, now the back end is stuck at monster truck mode...
shop has no idea what is causing this!
Has anyone run into this, or have any idea what to do about it?

    thanks

Weird. What amount of drop in MM did they do on both? Did they possibly damage the sensors when removing or installing the links? What brand of links?

Check and make sure the tire change mode isn't enabled.

One of the pieces was damaged during install... but they fixed it...!

The rear seams to be stuck on tire change mode.!

8mm was the distance for the link set up!

    Front is sitting low...

    So frustrating!!

Find another shop. Sounds like they don't know what they are doing. The lowering links are very sensitive and it sounds like they have adjusted them in the wrong direction (it works backwards). I can't imagine how they fixed that broken ball joint and you can't just buy the arm that's broken. Might also be the problem...

I'm Curious how they fixed it. That would require a new part. And as the other poster says the links work in reverse so if they made the links shorter then the car will go higher. They have the front correct so I doubt that's the issue.

They probably just plastic soldered the ball back on it. I would look at getting a new part to prevent you going down the road one day and having it snap off.

There is something very wrong there. That looks way higher than even tire change mode.

Probable guess would be that the "fix" they did on the broken ball did not take that one or both links are simply not connected and the system is not getting any info and thus gone full extension.

I don't think you could even get that high with links installed and adjusted all the way out

You don't fix that broken joint. You replace it. A proper shop would tell you they will replace it for you and the "fix" is very temp and that you should not drive on it honestly until it is replaced.

Imagine what can happen if you are driving and suddenly rear pops up like that.

Is it still not fixed? Have they tried putting the stock ones back in the rear to see what happens? If it still rides high after doing that then they must have twisted the sensor arm so much that it damaged the sensor.

That repair is satisfactory, really imo it's better than a new part.
