Has anyone noticed the difference between a "soundproof" windshield and one without..

I just had to replaced mine yesterday, and the new one had the "light and rain sensors" on it, but i did some research about the broken windshield and now I know that mine had some kind of noise insulator, i noticed it was different because my sunshade will not fit perfectly anymore, and since I always drive with stereo on I can barely hear any road noise.

As I've learned with my allroad --- there simply isn't glass made that doesn't have the 'acoustic' part built in. If you are having issues, the screen may not have been installed properly.

The windshield will have a symbol for that acoustic feature, they also are a bit more expensive than the other types.

I have not tried one just because they are over 600 dollars.
