Like the title says, Im considering selling my 09 premium plus avant. Had timing chain tensioner failure which is obviously probably bent valves. I'm trying to get out of the car and finding someone to repair it is proving to be quite the challenge. So what do you guys think about this plan. If i was to list whats a fair price? Car has 87k miles overall good condition except for this motor problem.

Sorry to hear that, the repair cost can range from 2-6k at non dealership. If you want to sell it "as is" then you going to have to deduce your price at kbb value by even more for the inconvenience. A rough estimate will be $3000 to $6000, 87k mileage is consider a high for Germans so I'm not even sure if you can find a buyer.

You most likely will get more money if you fix it first. Or fix it and keep it.
