Start stop not working

I just got a 09 prestige and the start/stop isn't working as well as the doors not opening if I touch the handle. The doors open and the trunk open when I hit the buttons on the fob however. I tried searching on the forum but the problems they had weren't the same, for them, at least one of them worked. Anyone got any ideas? I'm new to this key thing, so I am clueless.

Low voltage on remote or the car.
I had the same problem where the car was disabling systems when the car battery was going bad.
