Looking to buy AWE NON-RESONATED downpipes for B8 S5

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Hey guys I have an AWE Touring exhaust with stock downpipes and am throwing around the idea of picking up some non-resonated downpipes. I love the way it sounds now but wouldn't mind it a little louder. My B8 S5 sounds amazing right now so I can only imagine how much nicer it would sound!

I am located in Orange County and would ideally like to buy them locally if possible. Please shoot me a text or email and let me know what you have. Thanks! 949-407-9596 [email protected]

Brother, I removed my stock resonators and it sounds great! Just have a solid exhaust shop cut them out and put new piping in! I'll dig up a video

Yeah, I've seen it with mostly B8 S4s and B8.5 S5s, plenty of videos on YouTube from what I remember. They just cut off the baby resonators and straight pipe it. Opens up the sound exactly like the non resonated downpipes do.
Thing is...idk if having 2.25-2.5 tubing is a performance issue or not? I doubt it,so buying actual Downpipes just to stay 2.5in tubing all throughout seems like a waste of cash.

Here you go guys! Sorry, not the greatest clip, but it should give you an idea of the sound. This is the AWE track catback with the resonators removed from the stock down pipes.

Just make sure you get a credible exhaust shop to weld in the new pipe. It's easy and should take them like 15-20 mins.

Damn DreDay that sounds mean! Thank you for the clip. I watched it 20 times haha. I wonder how it would sound on the Touring exhaust?
