I recently purchased a fast intentions exhaust and would like to know your guys's opinions on what down pipes will fit up to it best as well as sounds best. Thanks all!

No disrespect, but you didnt think about what would fit before you bought it? As far as what SOUNDS best, it's pretty subjective and how much potential hearing damage you're willing to live with . That said, I personally think ASP Tru-Dual is one of the best sounding exhausts. It's tunnel blastability is outstanding. For livable on the daily, I have an AWE Twin 2 that's quite great, mated to 3" downpipes, and it's a bit of the best of both worlds.

    Hope that helps.

Lol. I think he's asking what downpipes, specifically, will sound best with the FI exhaust.

That's on me then. Sorry about that. Doesnt SSAC make DPs that fit? Does it not fit to the stock ones? If so, guts those stock downpipes.

It's not going to matter much which downpipes you go with, although depending on which version of the FI exhaust you went with you'll have to choose between resonated or non resonated dps based on the volume level you want.

Fast intentions makes wide mouth downpipes that perform incredibly well. Why didn't you get those?

I currently have ssac and managed to rip a whole in the flex pipe while driving over what seemed to be a manageable speed bump, they were getting pretty old anyways but I'm not sure if I want to go back to them unless they're the best option.

You could PROBABLY snag some stock ones for cheap and gut them. Otherwise I'd go for whatever works with your budget.

I got both the muffler and the straight through mid section so when I have the straight through on I want it to be petty loud but not crazy can't talk to whoever is riding with me loud.

Being that I'm still in high school and my pockets aren't super deep, I have enough to deal with problems if they occur, I didn't want to spend 1300 on down pipes, I was already questioning whether it was worth it getting the actual exhaust.
