At a loss for the problem...

My wife has a 2008 Audi A4 2.0t and just recently started having problems.... I replaced the gas cap and the N80 EVAP Valve but am still occurring the problem of it not starting. It is making the clicking noise as if the battery were dead but I just replaced the battery and load tested it last night, its not the battery. When I go to turn it on ACC, my CEL, battery light and EPC light are on. I go to crank it, no turnover, just the clicking of a dead battery. After I try, it locks the ignition and you have to remove the key to try again.... also after I try, you can hear a slight beeping noise in the engine compartment for maybe 5-7 seconds and then it stops. I've checked all the fuses, all are good. I've looked at the starter to see if the wire has corroded, wire is good. I'm going to test the starter tonight with a test light and see if it is the solenoid maybe and try banging the starter if the solenoid is good but if this fails I don't know where else to go.... I've searched and searched on here but haven't found a thing EXACTLY to what I am experiencing but I did find a few things, hence me changing the EVAP purge and the gas cap. Please help..... I appreciate your time, thank you in advance!!

When trying to start the car, is it giving you repetitive clicks or just one solid click?

I would say test the starter. Is it automatic? if manual try to push start. Gas Cap and N80 would not cause the car not to crank.

manual? if yes, get few friends and push it to do a compression start. It will take less time to diagnose the starter.

but seems to be the starter.

beeping noise might be the fuel system being primed.
On 'ON'', cel and esp light will come on, at least on my car it does.

    * edit, brandon was faster than me on that one

It is repetitive clicks and a slight hum/buzz but I let off after a second or two to not damage anything. Unfortunately it is automatic or I would've done that already :( one good thing about manuals! LOL

My main reasoning for replacing the gas cap and N80 was because after she would fill up the car wouldn't always start so hopefully I solved that problem now.... but now to get it started in general

Remove the protective shield under the engine bay, towards the passenger side of the car you'll see the starter, check the terminals and electrical connections on it which are prone to oxidation. Disconnect the battery, remove and clean each wire, if possible with acid, then reconnect and re-try.

I did that already, all terminals on the battery are in perfect condition, replaced them about 2 months ago due to them going bad and corroding so figured since I'm changing the battery might as well put new terminals. For the starter all wires are in perfect condition. I took a video of what it is doing when you turn it over.... let me know what anyone thinks please. Here is the link https://youtu.be/OGIH0XhQhng

Disconnect the starter and test it. Just because the wires are fine, doesn't mean the internals are working correctly.

Sound like an internal problem. Probably the bendix.

Did you try hitting the starter with something while having someone start it? Sounds like the starter bud.

Yeah I took a ball pin hammer and tapped it while starting but never cranked. If it is the starter it is converted under warranty so off to the dealer it goes... how can the starter be tested with a test light? Can it? Thanks for all the help people

It can be tested by removing it and going to an auto parts store. they can test it.

At a loss for the problem...

    Bingo

Also hitting it doesn't always work, we had a forklift at work that had a bad starter, sometimes hitting it worked, other times it helped you just kill time with an excuse
