    Hello!

I have a 2001 a4 Quattro 1.8T and I was wondering if you guys might have any ideas for a new exhaust system. Basically, I want an aftermarket muffler. Something low and loud, but not obnoxiously loud. Let me know what you think is a good muffler.

    Thanks!

    Hi, and welcome to Audizine.

Let me be the first to say this, you gotta search. This has been covered literally thousands of times, there's a wealth of great info on this forum.

That being said, search magnaflow or borla, both seem to be popular favorites.

My b5 has a vibrant muffler on it. Also has both resonators removed. i think it sounds pretty good.

buy my borla catback system. it is a beautiful low rumble and flows well but doesnt drone and isnt to loud. i love it. if i could id still be running it. but going big turbo it wont work to well. its only like 2.25 pipes i think. its pretty close to factory specs but its got much smaller mufflers and mandrel bent tubes. itll be a pain to find a box for it to ship it but for the right price id part with it. i bought it new for like $800 i think.
