    Rear window (windshield) seal

I can't seem to find anything on this. Has anyone replaced their rear window shield seal without removing the glass? I plan on having my car sprayed in a different color, and would like to paint behind this. If it cant be removed without pulling the rear windshield, I suppose Ill just have to go that route. If thats the case, has anyone pulled the rear window themselves?

The window is bonded to the body and butyl boding adhesive forms the seal of the window on the body. You will have to remove the window by cutting through the adhesive to paint behind the window.

I’ve been wondering about the removal process too - need to pull/clean both the front and back for new glass...

So it sounds like the glass needs removed in order to change out the rubber seal that I linked to above?
