tuned cars-what gas do you like?

i was running cheap costco premium for a couple of tanks then switched back to V power. i swear it's a much better performing engine with the V power. i tried them all and the V power does it for me.

what gas do you prefer? with the tune i am sure you can tell the difference, right?

Costco is top tier gas, purchased directly from regional refineries. I can't speak to Canadian stuff, but I have logged 76 v. Costco and nothing seemed to be different from what I was looking at.

That said, I run and have run in all kinds of tuned turbos different VP types. Sometimes I can find 100 at a pump, but you can also find MS109, which I believe is their best option for a tuned turbo car with cats (no lead, oxygenated 109 octane), in small drums.

Valero, Shell, Mobil 93 octane. Depends on where I am when I need it.

For pump gas I like to use chevron or shell 91 or e85 for race gas I use vp ms109. You should be fine as long as you're using top tier fuel though.

I run a 50/50 blend of e85 and 87 personally. Ive been recommended to 91 with the e85, although i dont experience any less knock mixing with 87. the calculated octane mixed is 96.

obviously make sure you are tuned for it. ( don't do it if you are not tuned to run e85)
