I bought the car with 82,xxx miles. The seller told me timing belt had just been done which was true because I looked and the belt was new on the car. At about 87,000 the plastic waterpump they use exploded and blew the motor. I replaced the motor with the same 1.8T w/ 72k miles. During that time I did the timing belt and updated metal impeller water pump. I also replaced the clutch and all gaskets and clamps and seals on the motor. I have had absolutely no issues since then. After the swap the body and trans have 103,100 and the motor is at 88,100 give or take. So you will not have to worry about timing belt until about 157,000.

Will come mounted on 18x9.5 et45 Rotiform IND-T wrapped in 225/40/18 Yokohama S-Drives. Tires and Wheels are brand new Not even 5,000 miles on them. R/R wheel has slight curb rash.
