I've never been a fan of the RS7 wheel, not even on the RS7 and agree that they look out of place on this car. The guys at NGP tell me that the Audi HQS guy who owns the car apparently wants to source all the parts from the Audi parts bin. The carbon mirrors, for eg., have an Audi part number on them. They also needed 21" wheels to clear the ceramic brakes, thus the RS7 wheels. At a minimum they need spacers, but would be nice if they sourced a better looking wheel. Hell, the S8's 21" rotors would look better IMO.

The car looks great but as Brooklyn said, the S8 21's would have looked even better!

I think that this is way beyond "OEM Plus" with turbo upgrades. Although I don't see the point in Virginia where the speeding laws are ridiculously harsh.

As far as I know, most of these vehicles have capacities over 155 mph, yet nowhere in the US can you travel at that speed on public roads legally.

Whoever the owner is, they went all out and to me it's commendable and looks great. What I am wondering is if this HQ staffer tuned it as well?

Yes it is. Was tuned to Stage 3 before he even drove it. His wheels have been swapped to OEM Blk S8 plus.

Both the "regular" S6 as well as the RS6 conversion are fantastic projects. I tip my hat to the owners. For me, however, with that kind of money, I would probably just have gone with a built to spec Panamera Turbo, slapped on an ECU tune and be done with it. No full size car in existence has that kind of steering, handling, suspension, and overall chassis dynamics.
