Toe hook license plate mount suggestions?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Hey guys, looking for a license plate bracket for my B6 S4 that mounts into the front toe hook spot. Anyone have a good one that they'd reommend? I see cheap ones and expensive ones on Amazon but would like to hear from someone who bought one and likes the fit/quality. Thanks!

I bought one like this one:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/For-01-05-Au...FXPQkB&vxp=mtr

I think it looks great! Only problem was the hardware was a little short but the seller sent me an extra set of hardware, so I used the spacer from it to make it work.

Did the same. I used a few washers as well. Be careful with how close it sits top your bumper. Mine got knocked and scratched the bumper.

I think I had the gominigo one - Only downside was the install wasn't ideal - I eventually took it off as I thought it didn't look right and drilled fresh holes in the middle of my bumper - yeah I know I know...

Thanks for the link, may be the one for me! gautam, looks good...some matte euro front grilles would look awesome btw. I got them a few years ago and it really gives the front a different look! Blackstallion your killing me lol been looking for a front license plate filler that hasn't been drilled forever and still haven't found one.

Got pics? I'm thinking of wrapping the silver trim around the upper and lower grills in a carbon fiber print.

Yeah wrap or plastic dip may be a good economical option too. The fiber would pop nicely as well.

Looks so much better with plate in the center but that's just my opinion haha - obviously best of both worlda no plate at all..

And here's an old one of mine - with the b6 having two grills I personally think if throws the lines off...

Yeah a front plate is shtty either way but at least I could quickly unscrew the mount out of the tow hook spot n pop the cover in if I feel like being rebellious with no plate

Looks nice!! Where did you get these? ECS?

I wish I was back in PA cos they don't require a front license plate while TX does, but then again TX winter > PA winter

Yes sir ECS and thank you. I hear you too, I work in PA and live 10 min from the line and I get to see everyone up here keep it clean lol. But I agree on the winters and md only has a 1 time vehicle inspection which I'd take any day for the cost of a front plate ha

I got mine from Gautam and filled the drill holes and got matching wrap and you cannot tell at all that it had holes it before.

I also wrapped the severely discolored trim and mirrors, I know I am going to get bashed because the mirrors are wrapped, but personally they look a hell of a lot better than the stained and discolored look they were before.

Yes, she got a bath later that day.

X2 - I see some people down here in TX that cut their front license plate so that it is slim enough to fit in the Euro plate spot. anyone doing that on here? I park next to an EVO IX that does this and it looks pretty good, actually.

That might work if done perfectly but might be more illegal cutting up the plate then running without one haha

I bought this one for my B6 S4 front bumper. http://www.ebay.com/itm/131825858358...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT It looks fine. It was a little loose so I added glue and it hasn't budged since. Cheapest one I could find too.

I think I remember reading that they recommend removing the plate before going through a drive through car wash lol. I bought this style but I didn't do my homework so even though the pic in the ad was a b6, the list of audi's it fit was 2009 and up (apparently they changed the screw threads around 2009?).

Ah that sucks, I just bought the eBay one. Priced in the middle and it looked like it has a lot of adjustment
