I know this is kind of stupid question but You know the noise when you have your door open with the key in the ignition or head lights on when the car is off. Mine doesn't do it anymore anyone know why ? It kinda bugs me
That it doesn't especially when I forget to turn my lights off so how do you fix it ?

The door sensor may be bad. Do the lights come on when you open any other doors?

Does it show the driver door as being open in the gauge cluster display when you have it physically open?

^ try manually pushing in the little stick that moves the sensor, see if you can get it to toggle that way if the door doesn't trip it.

couldn't find a short clip of clarkson complaining about door ding/dong -- surprised you miss it.
