    Oil in turbo inlet

Hi, I have noticed whenever I have removed my turbo inlet hose that there is quite a bit of oil where the (PCV?) hose connects. I've also noticed a little bit of oil inside my N75 sensor when I replaced it, as well as the diverter valve. I know the PCV system is intended to recirculate burned oil gasses back into the system, but this seems like more than it should be ahead of some vital components.

    Is this normal?

Normal, the PCV system does not remove all the oil mist in the blow-by gases. You need to install a properly filtered catch-can into the PCV line into the intake manifold, and another one in the hose from the PCV to the turbo inlet pipe.

That's exactly why they make catch-cans. That said, even the best catch-can setups will only filter about 80% of the oil.

After it goes through the turbo, the oil travels through all the boost piping and then coats the intake valves. To keep 100% of the PCV gases from recirculating, you have to vent it to atmosphere or install a custom, exhaust-routed PCV setup.
