Do you have matching struts? The spring should be tight in place where you cannot move it with the subframe tight.

Also make sure your subframe is centered or else you will have a weird offset on the rear wheels.

You don't need to touch the subframe. Remove the brake line, and push down on the control arms, they come out with spring compressors. Installing is made much easier using Bosch rubber grease.

Not sure what brand of coilovers your using, but there should be a flat edge on one side of the rear springs. That flat edge should sit against your adjusting collar. Check and make sure you've got the spring orientated correctly. There shouldn't be any kind of gap between the two.

The opposite end should sit against the rubber insulator. You may want to consider installing your rear adjusting collar on the top of the spring instead of the bottom for ease of adjustment. Heres a link for reference. Scroll toward the bottom in the section called "the better way"

    figured it out boys
there are 3 screws that i had to tighten on the height adjuster in order to hold it down(that way theres no gab under it)
its standing straight on there now

    thanks though!
