    Exclamation 2001 Audi a6 2.8L Super Flush

Ok so a little while ago i mixed coolant. I feel like i should be put to sham ... But now i need to do a super flush so to speak . It's been in there for a little while and im seeing some black stuff in the coolant tank. The A6 operates fine. But now i'm stating to get worried since i found out that's a big F&^% up on my part . I want to know how i can clean it good and how much G12 or G13 im going to need.

i would bite the bullet and go to the dealer and have them do a complete flush and refill with g13
should take about 2 gallons mixed

Take your time and don't use a flush.

If you are confident, do it yourself. If not go to dealer like toast said

No no, just wanted to share the article and that you shouldn't use a flush. Just water as stated in the article unless you're going to run a good amount of tap water through the system.

I dont know the capacity of your 2.8 but on my 2.7t i flushed it many times with clean water and after thr final flush i dumped a gallon of G13 concentrate and topped it off with water. Having no issues and coolant tester says im good for 20 below

tbh that's like the same as i did i did a gallon of g13 and and 2L of water and topped it off with g13. the test does not show anything it maxes out at -45 but i think mixed it more for like -85 below i think according to the back of the g13 jug.

Be mindful with your antifreeze concentrations. The higher the concentration of antifreeze the lower the heat carrying capacity.
