With shipping it works out to $19.66 per 5 liter jug. That's a steal of a deal son. I wonder what's wrong with it? Some say it's in clearance since it's 2 years old which its technical expiration. I ordered 2 and if I was a shop I would order all of it!

Delvac 5w40 is also on special albeit not like motul. It's very much like motul but slight higher tbn I believe.

    The listing is a scam.
Here is a copy of the email I received this morning after my order last night.

    ----------- Begin message -------------

    Hello
Thank you for your order. Unfortunately there seems to be an error with Amazons listing. This part # is for 1 5L container only. There is no such thing as a 102870-4PK only the part # 102870 which is what we sell. That is for 1 single 5L container. If you believed you were getting 4 of the 5L containers, then we ask you please request an order cancellation as only 1 single 5L will ship. We do apologize for the confusion, however, we do not control the listings, only fill orders based on part number. If you understand its only 1 5L, and still want it shipped, please reply back confirming so we can process the order. Thank you

I get 5-liter jugs of this same oil at CarQuest for $38. I get my OC 105 oil filters on eBay for 13 bucks

Seems it is a hit or miss, which seems damn weird. Almost seems grounds of lawsuit for false advertisement. Not to sue for much. Maybe something like lifetime supply of oil. Seems fair .

Anyways, read the reviews. Hit or miss...

I read through that entire forum on renlist. There were several people who uploaded photos of themselves receiving the correct advertised shipment. My guess is that the order Pickers / fillers at the warehouse simply fulfilled the orders the way the advertisement reads. Amazon should correct the listing. With this much hubbub there seems to be about it someone somewhere must have talk to someone about it. This listing should not continue as it reads. I wonder if the oil is coming from multiple suppliers. Maybe some suppliers are willing to fulfill the order as it is and some catch on?

Rotella T6 has a high zinc content which is proven good for wear. But there are better oils designed for catalytic converters and exhaust filters. Zinc is hard on catalytic converters and filters. Also Rotella T6 only carries the SM rating rather than the SN rating. And if you're a picky technical person you may want that SN rating.

I bought the 4 pack 3 months ago for $123 which is still available. still super super cheap. 5 liter jugs in a 4 pack for $123 shipped.

when I ordered I did see the $58 dollar one but thought to myself since it has a part number for 4pk, but only really lists 1 unit that it is actually one of the 4 pack sold as individual. you know how snacks have printed on them, "not for individual sale".

so if you're catless and have a full turbo back, then t6 is perfectly fine.

It's a scam. I tried to order and I received an email from the seller stating that it was per five liter jug and that the listing is a mistake. They bill you and send you one jug if you don't respond. I think how many people don't keep track of their notifications. They're probably scamming the shit out of a lot of people.
