B7 How to remove the upper bolt for the bracket linking the turbo to the engine block

To be honest, I wanted to remove the diverter valve and check for damages and which revision it is as just bough the car a week ago. Car was parked for 3 months due to a cam follower that failed. Long story short, I spent an hour trying to remove the upper hidden bolt on the damn thing I couldn't get it out.

I've decided to pull my turbo out instead to clean it and then check the diverter once it's out of the car. Main reason behing this is; I got the P0234 code after the follower replacement. Car would go into limp mode as soon as you asked for 50% + power.

I've done everything on the list for the turbo removal, except one which I can't... the upper bolt for the bracket linking the turbo to the engine block. It's hidden under the turbo and behind the heat shield, near impossible to reach. Any hints?

This is the bolt I'm referring to once it's out, you can see the bracket still attached.

Could try an Allen wrench and then put something over it to try to break the bolt free

Was able to reach it with a long hex bit, pulled as hard as I could on the 3/8 wrench and could loose it. I ended up removing the turbo without lousing it, I actually loosen the bracket at the other end, where the support bolt into the block. 2 larges bolt. It enabled me to pull the turbo assembly out easily.

Yes I was, what a nightmare... First time I took one out of a TFSI B8... All the major components where out in an hour or so, but I've spent 5 hours on that last bolt and 1 or 2 on the upper diverter valve bolt that's hidden... Just stupid how much time someone can loose on a single bolt.
