Hi I am new to this site . I just bought my audi a4 2001 b5 not to long ago . I parted out another one so I have a lot of extra parts for sale. But I would like to build a high performance engine with a gt2871rs or gt2871r I'm not sure exactly what to do and if the aeb head make a difference. Can anyone help me.

I'm new as well but my very knowledgeable tuner said my next step would be to build a AEB head for my AWM due to the ports being much larger and flowing better. I already have all supporting mods and definitely suggest those first to see the best gains.

A place between here and there

AEB actually slows velocity, which leads to more lag. You won't see gains till around the 450whp mark with the AEB head.

GT2871R is fine on a stock block with decent tune. If that is all you want, forged rods for safety and you will be fine. Or run it how it is with a decent tune.
I hate it when my car acts like a little bitch, treating me like a bitch
