Selling 2000 S4
Im posting this here before kijiji just to give you guys a chance first.
$2500 OBO, (literally highest offer will take it).
226.5KM (141k miles)
I purchased this car in March with intentions to make it my winter DD.
At the moment I need money for a down payment for a new house.
Car is not prefect, please keep this in mind.
It has some surface rust, small scratches and stone chips.
Good things:
-runs and drives ( I drive it to work once a week), pulls pretty strong still
-bought new battery after I bought the car in April
-lowered on some sort of springs
-supposed to be a stage 1 car (not sure if true)
-comes with extra audi wheels which need new tires and paint
-I bought new wheel studs and rotors for it but have not installed them yet
-comes with an alpine sub in back and some sort of attachment which lets me use USB for music (sounds pretty bad)
Flaws:
-PO said the car is salvaged; the registration states that it is not, it was rear-ended a few years ago according to him (I don't know)
I can give anyone who wants the VIN and you car run it
Right now the car is still in the previous owners name. I have a bill of sale. I can go and get it registered in my name but then I would have to pay tax on it. And then you would have to get it registered in your name and pay the same tax. This cost would be on you. I don't know how this would work if you're not in Ontario. Maybe buy it as a parts car?
-ABS light is on
-rear windows don't work
-A/C does not work
-3 out of 4 tires lose air and I have to pump them up once a week
-front bumper is in poor condition
-headlights are very foggy
-transmission had issues 4 times I drove it shifting very hard into 2nd. It seems to have fixed itself somehow? But I would assume this is an issue that may come back
You are welcome to drive the car and see how everything feels
-there is a clunk which happens when you shift
-exhaust leak around downpipe
-clicking sound when doing sharp turns
-smokes a little when first turned on sometimes
-has a CEL that comes on and goes away after a while, it is for 02 sensor

I live in Windsor Ontario (across the river from Detroit)
Price is OBO. If I only get 1 offer of $500 the car will be going to that person. I will put this car up on kijiji after it being on here for a week and see if I get any higher offers. After that the car will be gone.
