    6sp APR RSC exhaust help

I got a screaming deal on a used APR exhaust with downpipes with the only caveat that the middle resonator has a fatty dent in it. So seams or welds are broken but I figured while the exhaust was out of the car I might as well fix it. The options I'm trying to weigh here are

    1) delete the muffler and straight pipe it
    2) replace it with non apr muffler. The apr muffler is stupid expensive and doesn't actually have "RSC" anything.
    3) screw it and leave it as is.

The exhaust has 10k on it and I've heard of other apr exhausts "failing" around 20-30k. What other maintenance items, if any, can I perform on the exhaust to extend its life. Would deleting the muffler create drone or make it too loud with a 6 sp? Thanks all

I have the APR RSC exhaust with a 6MT. The exhaust was too quiet for me so I deleted the middle resonator and replaced it with an x-pipe. There is slight drone but the drone isn't bad at all. I went on several road trips with it in the 2K to 3K RPM range for about 4-5 hours straight. There is a video on YouTube of a S5 with the APR exhaust and resonator delete.

Thanks, that is what I was hoping to hear. No pics of my can as I'm traveling for work. I'll definitely be throwing an xpipe in there
