2017 q7 rse

I finally drove a P+ Q7 in Glacier White today. The last time I went to look at them the dealer only had one and was selling it as I was walking in so I never got drive it. I loved the ride. Very comfy, handled great, plenty of power and great tech. At first while driving I thought I heard road noise since I wasn't on a very good road but then I also heard it on a smoother road and it sounded like a mechanical hum. I'm thinking it may have been the Quattro system I was hearing but I don't remember hearing that noise in the Q5s I've driven. Just curious if others have heard the hum I heard and if it really is the Quattro system or maybe even the SC? It wasn't an annoying or anything so I think id get used to it.
Also the Q7 I drove had the RSE which is what I'm really wondering about. I can't really find anything about it online other than an Audi promo video showing a women using the tablet thing. Anyone have the RSE installed and what do you think about it? Is it easy for kids to use?

We opted not to get the RSE and to repurpose our iPad2's for the entertainment mission! I don't think we are missing out on much.

Wow lots of good info in that thread. I was thinking the RSE would be a cool option to add just to reduce clutter and wiring in the back. I really don't need apps and all that other stuff that an iPad will do. I just want something I can slide a DVD/Bluray disc into and play a movie for my daughter. Seems like an iPad or even just a portable DVD player maybe the simplest solution.
It's ashamed Audi couldn't just simplify this system or give an option for a simplified version. I looked at a Grand Cherokee Summit with RSE which was very simple to use put a Bluray in the player and it plays movies in the rear. The Jeep just isn't a drivers car like the is Audi.
