Audi A4 B8.5 2.0T Strut brace options

Hi guys,

I am wondering if there are any aftermarket strut brace options for the engine bay strut towers?

They appear to be really rare.

I think he priced them well, I got mine super cheap, but I certainly think he did well, he deserves it though... The anodized black is super good quality, and very practical with no fuss

Does not fit B8.5 properly...not Ultra Racing's fault though.

Audi removed some mounting points from the strut towers on B8.5

I have it on my b8.5, it fits fine, just need to add a bolt and your good

I think it depends on the year, on vehicle built in Oct. 2015, the entire thread studs are missing.

The only proper way to mount it is to drill holes through the shock tower.



Some discussions with one member finding out about the missing studs the hard way in one of the replies.

This is pretty much the only time I wish my Audi was a jap car.... :( Theres literally an aftermarket part for every piece of the car.

Although I did recall seeing an aftermarket strut brace for the A4 B8... I think it was Europe and ends up to be about $400 - $500 USD from memory. I cant seem to find the link now.

CR15 will fit any B8 & B8.5, so no more nasty surprise for ya!

For strut tower braces, you can pick one up in China for around $50-60, designed to fit B8 and early B8.5 that still have studs on shock towers.

Remember Audi A4L (L = long wheel base) is a very popular Chinese national executive saloon engineered and built only in China, so accessories are plentiful.
