    Adding more power to a 2011 A5

    Hey folks,

I recently picked up a 2011 A5 Prestige S-Line 6MT with 63k miles . I absolutely love the car, but I'd like to do some mods to give the car more power. I'm looking for some suggestions on mods to make to increase HP and torque, while not negatively impacting the car's reliability too much.

Through ECS? Would that involve removing my car's ECU and sending it to them? Any intake or exhaust that should be done along with the tune?

That. Stage 1 will keep you happy, then you can jump on stage 2. Some Stage 2 tunes require a downpipe for this platform. I'm getting an Apr Stage 2 soon; recently installed the awe downpipe plus custom exhast. Interested to see the results.

if you want power you could do internals and go with a rai eliminator kit, but that's 4-500hp at least. they don't require internals afaik but if you don't want to worry I'd do it

Very Interesting RAI Motorsport kit... does anyone actually have one installed?

I'm quite interested, but have grown rather pessimistic when reading advertising claims.
