    Hey guys,
Putting my BBK kit together and have a few questions for those that have several miles on their setup*

    What pads do you run?
    • Initial Bite?
    • Dust?
    • Noise?

    What rotors do you run?
    JHM Lightweights?
    • 350?
    • 330?

    Others?

How is your pedal feel from OEM to the Cayenne setup??
    • Softer?
    • Harder?
    • No Change?

*Please only comment if you have first hand experience. I've done all the searching etc... I want experienced answers only please.

    Thanks guys!

I ran Hawk Ceramic pads first and hated them. Switched to Ferodo DS2500 and holy shit do they stop HARD. I also had a back expierence with the Hawks and brake fade, with the Ferodo still havent had that issue.

I run the ECS stage 4 kit so i run the rotors with that kit. Two Piece 350 if i recall.

Pedal feel (ive had the kit now for a few years) was similar to my memory.

Those Ferodo's are some spendy pads. Though, I have universally heard that the Hawks are "significantly lacking" in function and bite. Ultimately I'd rather only spend once. How many miles on the pads so far?

Sounds like a slick setup - how are you liking the ECS rotors?
We are also rolling pretty similar mods so that's informative as well.
thanks for the taking the time to share.

So far i love the setup. I put the Pads on in April so i have maybe 5k on them. I have 20k on the Hawks. I will say that the Ferodo's to squeak a little here and there. They are definitley more dusty than the Hawk Ceramic. But im more worried about performance and bite than i was keeping my wheels cleaned. Thats why i buy Adams polishes wheel cleaner lol.

I have the jhm 350mm setup with hawk hps 5.0 pads.
Initial bite is progressive, not grabby, slight better than OEM.

Dust is minimal. The older style hawk hps pads dusted less on my B5 A4. But I'm chalking it up to more surface area on these giants pads. Still, its way way less than OEM S4 pads that had my wheels change color in 3 days.

    Zero noise.

Pedal feel is a huge difference. There was noticeable "slop" in initial bite and overall braking. Now all 3836lbs stops faster with less pedal effort. Stomp on it though and anything that isn't strapped down goes flying. The OEMs were decent but these just feel that much more aggressive and responsive.

Oh and those big red calipers are eye catching.
