'13 B8.5 Bluetooth Streaming - Play Time: 0:00

I did a search but couldn't seem to find anything on this.

I have a '13 S4 Prestige... When I stream music from my iPhone 6 to the car, the song and album details will show on the screen, but the "Play Time" of the track always reads 0:00.

Is there a fix or is it an iPhone problem?

same thing with my 13 s5 sometimes it shows sometimes it does not, I'm going to try for a software update next time I'm in the dealership see if that fixes the issue.

When I've had this problem (iPhone as well), all that needed to be done was restart whatever program you are streaming music/audio from. Reselect the source on the MMI (since now the program was closed when you restarted it) and the meta-data will appear correctly and the 0:00 as well.

It's a software issue. Mine had it for two years then I received an update from the dealer right before my warranty expired. I can get the version tomorrow if interested. Note the dealers do not like to update the MMI version as they said it could be problematic and causes more headaches usually. I had to be firm and reference a TSB known issue (once again can get that when fly back home tomorrow) and complain about a specific issue (not the 0:00 reading).
