    S line/S5 vs RS5 rear

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Hi guys. So i am looking to convert my non s line A5 coupe to a RS5 looks. So basically my initial plan is to convert the front bumper to the S Line competition plus because i want to keep the fog light while having a huge RS5 like grille. And the back, have to a S5 looks with quad exhaust. But this way is expensive for me because the only place i can find this front grille is from europrice. I am from Asia and it is really expensive to ship to my country.

Therefore, plan B is to convert the front to a RS5 looks. I can get the RS5 bodykit (front and rear) from China, if it fits well as I am a cheapo lol. But having the RS5 front looks, i would still want the S5 quad exhaust looks at the back. Can I just get the RS5 rear bumper and fit it with the S5 rear valance for the quad exhaust?

Or does the RS5 rear bumper and S5 rear bumper both completely different sizing?

Really appreciate your help very much. I hope to mod my non S Line to a more aggressive sportier looks without having to spend so much.

No, S5 valance won't fit on RS5 bumper.

The RS5 and S5 have completely different rear bumpers, not to mention, different size rear fender flares. To fit a genuine VW/Audi RS5 bumper to your A5 you would need a body shop to modify your rear wheel arches to match the bumper. An S5 rear valance (lower trim piece) won't fit on the stock RS5 bumper.

No idea what these body kit pieces look like but my guess would still be that the lower valance from the S5 won't fit the RS5 rear bodykit. Completely different design. With cheap body kits you are likely going to have poor fitment which means really noticeable body panel gaps.

If you want the quad exhaust look at the rear, your best bet is an s-line or S rear bumper conversion.

There isn't really a cheap way to do this if you want OEM quality appearance. Most have gone with the Rieger or Xenonz UK kits.

Okay thanks for your responses guys. So my best bet is to get oem parts. However the Audi dealer in my country is piece of s#*$ they cant even source out the front n rear bumper for me.

Im not into the reiger, Xenonz or Caractere looks imo. Prefer oem RS5 looks.

However can the front of the RS5 bumper fit my car without any problem? Or is it similar to the rear where it has difference size fender flares?

What do you think of the A5 having a fog light and without the fog light (RS5 looks). I never use the fog light but I have no idea why I still want it there. haha

I know.. -_- the place that is painting it does not want to buy a large amount of paint just to paint these two small sensors so they are taking a while.. They said they would paint it free of charge if I bought the sensors but now I think they are regretting it lol

I used to use my fogs a lot but now I could care less! Fitment is 9/10 so I'm happy with it!

What is the 1/10 that does not fit? If my car has parking sensor then it wont have that hole right? Is there any difference between xenonz rs5 bumper to lets say, Europrice's RS5 bumper?

The tow hook cover doesn't sit 100% right but only I notice it! I'm not sure about europrice but I know that Xenonz manufactures theirs to fit an A5/S5 without needing to modify your fenders!

how does the Xenonz ones look as compared to the OEM RS5 bumper? Does it look the same aggressive style?

Do you have a close up shot of the tow hook cover as it doesnt sit 100% right?

xenon RS bumper is as close as you can get to the OEM RS bumper without issues fitting due to the wider flares. its take it or leave it at this point

Reiger RS is more aggressive than the OEM RS bumper, but fitment isn't as good as the xenon uk

as for your rear, if u want quads, ur only choice really is to go s5 rear bumper. you can also use a reiger rear valance on the s5 rear bumper to giv u the RS look ( oval tips ), or you can get a reiger valance that's quads. all options will still require the s bumper

Hey man. Can you post more pictures of your car? With the xenonz rs5 bumper. Prefably from the front shot and other angles too will be nice. And also if you have a comparison to the real RS5.

Does it look funny given that the oem rs5 has a wider fender and for the xenonz you dont need to change the fender?
