Should I be worry about how my Xpel/Suntek is being installed?

So I decided to get Xpel/Suntek after my car door was repainted for a key scratch ( by some asshole). Anyways, the only person that does Xpel/Suntek film in my area works from his home. He has done higher end cars than mine and was recommended by my detailer.

I saw his garage, which was nice and clean. Looked like it was fixed up to work on cars. I assumed he would be doing the install in the garage, however when I returned to pick up some stuff from my car and notice that he was working on his driveway. He had already did my hood, which looked good so far, I didn't have time to inspect it carefully.

Anyways, I thought these films were supposed to be installed in a closed up place to prevent as much dust/dirt from getting under them.

Definitely ideal to work indoors, although on a calm day the risk is quite mild. He's most likely doing a wipe down right before placing the film. Any chance he'd done the hood in the garage and then started working in the driveway as the weather got warmer? You're paying for a warranty, so I wouldn't worry too much, but it is worth asking the question of the installer.

Holy Crap is that a crazy thread! Wow! Coming from a guy that's been using XPEL for the last 12 cars, it's all about the installer. Once you find a good one, you never leave no matter how far they are! Ask for references and call some of their customers, it's their best way of showing you their work and I'm sure the work they did on other customers cars are car guys and they will be straight with you.

Didn't read anything except the title. I am horrifically paranoid about who i get XPEL done from, and I pay out the ass on the XPEL coverage i get for the CF , body pieces, and headlights i sell to get the top guy in the area.

Read the thread, lots of drama but justified.
