How does this help roll racing or produce a higher number on the dyno? ah right, the calipers come in yellow and red... that'll do.

Should post a bling bling photo or 2 for the new generation of s4 modder. Something super stanced, airbags, can't slide a piece of paper under the car style.
All the s4 'meets' I've been to in the last 5 years have a number of BBK cars, but most can't even clear a manhole cover, let alone race. Just food for thought on the product description.

lol, pretty much. although it's more the s4 community that's developed rather than the generation; just think they'd be more sold on a bling pic. The ones I see that actually drive are using beaters -- the s4s are for show. More people probably tracked their b5's in 2005 than they do now.

Being a B5 S4 owner my self I would still like to believe most of us use these cars for what they were built to do.

that being said I did have the same thought Zba posted haha.

For anyone thinking about getting a kit see below for some good information.

Yeah I wish that were true. Recently had a B5 tuner refuse to work on certain parts of my car because they saw my rotors -- voided many of their warrantees on unrelated performance parts just by looking at them! Wouldn't even touch brakes or suspension; and would only touch certain things for fear I would break their parts/service. Pretty incredible given they're a performance modification shop.

Tellin' you, parking lot builds are far more common best i can tell. Even many tuners have gone full-nancy (no bigotry intended).

Also, I think there was an article from the 2005-2010 timeframe that did the test on s4s. At 62mph (100km/h) brake bias plays a big role; especially how it interfaces with the abs system. Stoptech did quite well back then too (although they had some complaints from heavy trackers from things like caliper paint, pad quality, etc. that may have been revised since then). I wish they did those tests from higher speeds with more repetition -- from the studies I've seen it's hard to even get full track pads up to temperature from that speed regardless how many times you stop. Thanks for the link though, always good to add to the data pool.
Edit: ah it looks like they did do 200km/h and a 250km/h test. Very nice. Although it does look like they had vast differences between brands in warm-up procedure, which could really botch the entire comparison, depending on exactly how quickly the repeated the higher speed tests. Then again brake pads -- which are cheap/easy to swap out for ones that fit your intended use -- are probably the single biggest variable here. Regardless hard to beat the value of a stoptech kit -- even in the early days it was nearly impossible to beat bang/buck.
