New to Audi: Prices paid for 2017 A4 in Socal

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Hi - I am in the market for the first Audi in the household (for the wife). As they say "Happy wife, Happy life" Anyway, I did not mean to digress. I am in the Socal Market and the luxury car dealers here are very competitive. That said, is the following a good deal?

    2017 A4 Sedan 2.0T FWD MSRP $46,225

7TL - Inlays - see order guide for details,
    ACG - Audi connect Guide,
    PNY - Technology package,
    WPS - Premium Plus package

    H1H1 - Manhattan Gray metallic/ZG - Rock Gray / Granite Gray

Sale Price: $41,638 (including dealer fees)

10% off MSRP might seem like a lot some markets, but not the case in Socal. Anyone in Socal getting any better deals?

    Thanks,
    Don

I paid something around $46k for a fully loaded Prestige in Socal. You might be able to get $40k out the door?

I think prestige only comes Quattro. Mine is Quattro. It has everything except for the air suspension and sport package (wifey didn't like the rims). Of course I negotiated a while. ;)

Yeah I know. I am pretty happy with it. Especially since the car is absolutely amazing. Try TruCar.com. It really helps when negotiating.

I imagine you paid $46 w/o taxes, right? If not, that's insane!

    46k + tax, or 46k OTD?
    Also, what's the MSRP?

Correct. Without Tax. MSRP was like $53k. It's almost fully loaded. The only thing missing is the Sports Package and the Air Suspension.

I just poked my head in, and pretty set on the car, but I got it to $45K, but I'm definitely going to be more aggressive.

Car was a Prem +, sport package, tech package, Quattro, midnight blue

That sounds like a great deal. Was it a Prestige in stock?

I ended up paying 41,288 + ttl, which is about 11% discount off MSRP. If they are in the SoCal market, I think your parents can do a little better.

NorCal (Bay Area) 9% off MSRP + $750 loyalty on a fully loaded Prestige, the $46K posted by #2 is really making me jealous, but oh well~

    today i bought a 2017 A4 premium plus / sport / tech / all season floormats / moonlight blue

looked on my phone while talking to the dealer and truecar.com was saying $4900 off msrp (weirdly enough on a desktop PC it said $2500).

so i told the guy.... uh if you match this phone i will take it and amazingly they did. maybe it was a slow day..... also got $800 for using audi financial (they pay first payment up to $800). Car arrives next week as it was still in transit.

    so $5700 off a $49000 A4. This was in socal. i'm excited!
