    Rhode Island Tint HELP

    When I bought mine last year out of state, car had tint. Went to get registered/inspected and failed. Had to remove tint to pass.

    The guy at the local Midas suggested for next time to bring it in for inspection with all the windows rolled down. Still luck of the draw at that point.

    $200 to remove the tint - if it comes to that for you, I can recommend a place in Providence. PM me.

    RI reg is good for 2 yrs, so if you take it out, pass insp, and then reapply... try again next time.
